Just added an art page on here to display works I have done in the last few years and a place for new works as they come into creation.

I am comfortable with pen and ink, pointillism, oil paints, acrylic paints, watercolors, and mixed media drawings. After our move, I am hoping to have an area dedicated to oil painting as it is my preferred painting medium. There are several, unfinished works lying about that need a little love.

Scientific illustrations have always fascinated and excited me. Realism is my main focus in any medium. Call it the perfectionist in me. Creating something that is ‘good’ is nice, but when I hear the words ‘it’s so life-like’ or ‘I can’t believe its not a photo’ is one of the most satisfying things to hear. Life affirming even.

My art studio is still an unknown amount of time off in the distance (military housing issues at their finest), but I hope that if you made it to the end of this post, that you will stick around and check back for update.
